1. Stands must be tagged with your metal tag and a sign (6" x 6" or larger) with your name and membership number. Please see enclosed stand sign explanation. Hog traps must have a sign with your name and membership number attached. Hog traps, Ladder stands and Climbing stands can only be used in the 300 yard recommended radius of your metal tagged stand. These stands can only be placed toward unoccupied areas and can not create an overlap into another member's area.
2. All stands that are not legally tagged are subject to removal by the club. Stands must be at least 500 yards from campsites and at least 50 feet off road ditch named roads. You can not use graded roads as shooting lanes.
3. Please show courtesy when traveling by other stands and try to avoid distrubing hunters. during Rifle Season avoid excessive riding during prime hunting hours (Daylight to 9:30 am and 3:00 pm until dark). Do not ride ATV's during these time periods except going to and from stands. NO excessive riding in camp area and through out lease during deer season.
4. Beginning with Bow season please observe Daylight to 9:00 am and 4:30 pm until dark. Please apply this not only to driving but to also working on stands food plots or anything that could disturb the hunters.
5. It is mandatory that your MHC tags be displayed at all times while in the club.
6. Trash and litter is a problem. Everyone, please, clean up your campsites and stand area, and help keep roads and gate areas clean.
7. NO DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS IN CAMP AREA
8. Members shall not abuse existing private roads, pipelines or fire lanes by the use of vehicles during wet condidtions. Motor bikes and four-wheelers may be used in the club but if in RMS opinion, their use becomes destructive, they reserve the right to prohibit them. Food plots on side roads or pipelines are subject to being crossed by other members. Discing of main roads are prohibited, and you must leave an access area to cross the food plot.
Supplimental Protein
9. A part of our Quality Deer Management Program is to add supplemental protein to our deer. This will greatly improve our Buck's antler development and help with does giving milk to fawns.
10. Protein feeders at least one (1) per membership, with protein provided at least March thru August to cover the fawning and antler development period. Please use a 16% or greater protein pelted deer feed.
11. Food plots- I encourage every membership to have at least one (1) maintained with the proper amount of Lime and Fertilize. The club recommends every pipeline or highline stand have a maintained Spring and Fall food plot. A 50x100 yard food plot roughly equals an acre, it requires 1 ton of lime every 2 years and 300-400 lbs of fertilizer each planting Spring and Fall. Arrangements can be made with local feed stores for bulk delivery and if members pool their money together we can save money and time. Spring food plots should be planted between April 15-May 15 and Fall plots September 20-October 15, if you do not have access to equipment please contact me.
Observation Cards
12. Observation Cards- In order to estamite herd size, sex ratios and number of fawns per doe, hunter observation are essential. This data is required under the MLD program and will be a requirement of each membership . Without this information it is very difficult to impliment a meaningful QDM program. Extra cards will be kept at the weigh station when one becomes full deposit it and start a new card. Starting each year October 1st and thru out hunting season record all deer observered while on the lease and after each hunt. After cards are completed place in observation box at weigh station failure to turn in data will bring membership up for review for non-renewal status.
Guest policy
13. Camp Guest - You are allowed to have a camp guest at any time these guest must remain in camp during hunting hours and are not allowed to go thru the club after hunting hours without the member being present.
